The story behind AndySunflower Café
AndySunflower Café is a specialty coffee shop located inside of Ain’t She Sweet Café in Chicago’s Beverly community. Andy started her coffee business in 2019 as a mobile coffee cart. Family and friends encouraged Andy to open a coffee shop as she served them every day therefore, opening AndySunflower Café was inevitable.
AndySunflower Café was created to connect and meet with as many coffee lovers in the Chicagoland area as possible. Serving and teaching the community about coffee is what mattered most to Andy. She taught herself how to make great coffee over 15 years ago using various techniques and using the freshest beans sourced from the best roasters around the world. Although self-taught, Andy later became a certified barista and coffee expert.
Andy’s specialty coffee cart has reached many communities and corporate clients such as: Facebook (Meta), JB Hunt Transportation, S.C. Johnson Wax, Showtime Network (The Chi), and T-Mobile. She and her staff even served the NBA staff during the 2020 NBA All-Star game while here in Chicago.
